About Authentic Counselling Collective
There comes a point when insight is no longer enough.
You understand your patterns.
You know where they come from.
You have tried to cope, manage, override.
And yet something deeper remains untouched.
Authentic Counselling Collective exists for that place.
For when you are ready to move beneath strategies and into the nervous system. Beneath stories and into the body. Beneath survival and into truth.
This practice was shaped not only by years of clinical work, but by a lived understanding that real healing begins when the system feels safe enough to stop bracing so that it can finally process and release what its been holding on to for years.
Many people arrive here after feeling unseen by systems that were meant to help them. Labelled. Rushed. Treated at the surface.
Here, we go slower.
We go deeper.
We listen.
Your patterns are not flaws. They are protective intelligence.
Healing is not about becoming someone new.
It is about remembering who you were before you had to survive.
My Story
I did not arrive at this work untouched by it.
I know what it is to survive by adapting. To look capable while internally disconnected. To repeat patterns that feel bigger than willpower. To carry shame quietly and call it independence.
I understand trauma and addiction, because I have found my life completely consumed by them and clawed my way back from the depths. I understand the way the nervous system can take over and convince you this is just who you are.
Not just from theory, but from lived experience.
There was a time my life was driven by survival responses I did not yet understand. Healing began when I stopped fighting myself and started learning how my brain and body had encoded what I had been through.
It was not quick. It was not comfortable. It was not performative.
It was honest.
That process rebuilt me from the inside out.
It is why I hold this work with depth. Why I do not rush it. Why I do not pathologise adaptation.
I have done the work. I continue to do the work.
And I know what becomes possible when someone is finally supported in a way that reaches the root.
