Authentic Counselling Collective is a space for deep healing.
This is NOT surface level therapy.
This is work that honours the layers beneath the symptoms. The nervous system patterns. The early imprints. The moments that shaped you in ways you may not even consciously remember.
Here, you are not treated as a diagnosis or a problem to fix. You are met as a whole human being with history, resilience, pain and wisdom already within you.
My approach is collaborative and deeply respectful. I do not position myself above you. You are the expert of your life. My role is to guide and support you as we gently access and process what has been held in the brain and body.
I specialise in trauma informed and attachment focused therapy, working at the level where trauma is stored and encoded. This includes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Spinal Energetics, Somatic Therapy, Inner child work and Self-Compassion based practices.
These modalities allow us to go beyond coping. To safely process unresolved experiences. To reorganise survival responses. To create lasting internal shifts.
Healing here is not rushed. It is intentional. It is grounded. It is transformative.
This is a space to soften.
A space to release what no longer needs to be carried.
A space to come home to yourself.

I am a registered psychotherapist with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals within therapeutic settings. I work with children, adolescents and adults across the lifespan.
My primary areas of focus include trauma and attachment injuries, addiction and recovery, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression and challenges related to self esteem and self worth.
My work is grounded in a deep understanding of how early experiences shape the nervous system, relational patterns and coping strategies. I specialise in working at the root of distress rather than solely addressing symptoms, supporting meaningful and lasting change.

Creating emotional and nervous system safety is the foundation of all meaningful healing. You will be heard, seen and met without judgement. This is a space where you do not need to perform, explain or defend yourself. You are welcome here exactly as you are, as we gently rebuild a sense of internal safety and trust.

Many struggles are rooted in harsh self judgement and internalised shame. Our work cultivates self compassion not as a concept, but as a lived experience. As self compassion deepens, your relationship with yourself softens, and your nervous system begins to settle.

Trauma is not just a memory. It is a physiological imprint held within the brain and body. When unresolved, it can manifest as anxiety, depression, chronic stress or physical symptoms. Through nervous system informed approaches including EMDR, DBR and somatic therapies, we work to safely process and release what has been held, allowing your system to reorganise and stabilise.

Trauma and attachment wounds can disconnect you from your body and inner knowing. Healing involves restoring that connection. As we strengthen body awareness and regulation, your intuition becomes clearer and your authenticity more accessible.

It was chosen as the logo for Authentic Counselling Collective because it reflects the heart of this work. Even after adversity, the hummingbird continues to move with lightness and strength. It reminds us that healing does not erase the past, but it allows us to live fully in the present.
Within this collective, the hummingbird represents hope, nervous system restoration and the quiet courage it takes to return to yourself.
